Welcome! Voice Lessons with Maria Jane Loizou

My passion is to guide students towards their vocal goals in a supportive and positive environment.  As an experienced vocal instructor, I draw from an extensive background in voice studies, dance, acting, and holistic techniques to offer individualized instruction for each student. Together we will work progressively towards developing the skills you need to accomplish your singing goals. I am active in the greater Boston area and lessons are in person or over Zoom. 

All levels are welcome. I work with young students, choral singers, musical theater performers as well as avocational adult singers. We work systematically on the voice, using a combination of vocal exercises to build skills, then applying those skills to composed pieces. Our goal is to improve sound quality, range, and volume. As my former coach, the internationally known collaborative pianist Margo Garrett would say—"We will bloom your talents where they are currently planted!”
